The Hot Rods Connecting Rod Kit for the KX250F (2010-2012) is a premium heavy-duty OE replacement designed for high performance and reliability. The connecting rod and crankpin are forged from certified 8620 AISI steel, providing superior strength and durability. The crankpins are manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 and case-hardened to 58-62Rc. This kit includes the latest in caged needle roller bearing designs, ensuring longevity at high RPMs. The big end of the rod features strategically located side scalloping and vent slots to minimize bearing race distortion. The small ends are double drilled for enhanced lubrication and cooling of the wrist pin bearing. The connecting rods are shot-peened to eliminate surface stress risers and double-honed to produce an ultra-round bearing surface. Each kit comes complete with a connecting rod, crankpin, crankpin bearing, top-end bearing, and silver-coated bronze phosphor thrust washers. Compatible with both Hot Rods and OE crankshafts.
