The Arai Ram-X Helmet features an intermediate oval shape designed to fit the majority of head shapes in North America. The Variable Axis System (VAS) pivot cover is positioned lower, allowing for a smoother shell shape that enhances impact deflection. The VAS-Z shield system provides a lower pivot point for improved sliding performance in case of contact with obstacles. This helmet includes a multi-density EPS liner, Z Resin shell construction for enhanced strength and reduced weight, and a Pro Shade System that adapts to changing light conditions. Additionally, it is glasses-compatible with removable earcup foam, and it includes a Pinlock®-120 fog-resistant lens. SNELL M2020 and DOT certified.
