The Arai Ram-X Helmet is designed with an intermediate oval shape to fit the majority of head shapes in North America. It features the Variable Axis System (VAS) pivot cover, which is smaller and lower, providing a smoother shell for impact deflection. The VAS-Z shield system has a lower pivot point, allowing the helmet to slide more smoothly in case of contact with the ground or obstacles. The helmet includes a one-piece, multi-density EPS liner and Z Resin construction for improved strength and reduced weight. The Pro Shade System adapts to changing light conditions while maintaining impact absorption performance. It is glasses-compatible, with removable foam in the earcups for easy fitment. The VAS-Z shield accepts a Pinlock® lens, and a Pinlock®-120 fog-resistant lens is included. Certified to SNELL M2020, NHSTA, and DOT standards.
